NASDAQ is the largest U.S. electronic stock market. With approximately 3,200 companies, it lists more companies and, on average, trades more shares per day than any other U.S. market. It is home to companies that are leaders across all areas of business, including technology, retail, communications, financial services, transportation, media and biotechnology. NASDAQ is the primary market for trading NASDAQ-listed stocks.

Liquidity is moving off the floor at a rapid rate, and NASDAQ is trading greater volumes of NYSE-listed stocks than ever before. In May 2007, 15.7% of total consolidated volume was executed on NASDAQ systems and NASDAQ Execution Services — NASDAQ’s broker-dealer — was once again #1 on the NYSE, routing more share volume to the NYSE floor than any other NYSE member. This is not surprising since NASDAQ's trading systems are the faster, more efficient, transparent, better way to trade NYSE-listed securities.

Our approach to trading the NASDAQ stocks is purely mechanical.  We use the Chande Momentum Oscillator (CMO) for developing proprietary signals for all of our NASDAQ trades. The Chande Momentum Oscillator was developed by Tushar Chande.  A scientist, an inventor, and a respected trading system developer, Mr. Chande developed the CMO to capture what he calls "pure momentum."  For more definitive information on the CMO and other indicators we highly recommend the book The New Technical Trader by Tushar Chande and Stanley Kroll.  It’s probably at your library!

We scan and back test over 3200 issues to come up with the best trading issues.  We give you the Entry & Exits if triggered.  You can visit our Mechanical Monkey Member area each night for a review of the signals as well as receiving an email alert.
