Mike reviews a wide variety of markets. The issues addressed
are stock indices: E-Mini's, Dow Jones, S&P 500, NASDAQ; commodity
futures; and many different stocks.
This overview helps traders
frame their trading day and offers specific recommendations in a
wide variety of markets. Usually lasting a half hour, this
valuable information allows a trader to explore opportunities
that they might not be aware of.
During The Morning Call,
Uncle Mike features commentary from nightly charts he has
preparedthat include his important technical
views. Each chart includes candlesticks, special moving
averages (T3’s) and a momentum oscillator. Each day, traders
gain insight to various markets and become educated in these
important technical applications.
If you seek comprehensive
overviews of the markets and enjoy a bit of humor mixed in,
please take the time to come back each
day for an updated Morning Call with Uncle Mike.
Uncle Mike discuses entry and exit
points, strategies on Day trades, Swing trades and Position

The most common
question we are asked is: “Where is the Dow headed?” Most
traders/investors have a keen interest in this important indicator. The
direction of the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) has an overbearing
influence on most equity investments. Whether an individual owns mutual
funds or specific stocks, most days, the direction of the Dow is a huge
clue to how their overall investments are doing.
Each morning, we
analyze either the ES, DIA (the ETF that mimics the Dow) or the YM (the
electronic traded, e-mini futures contract). Both of these instruments
move in lock step with the actual index. The easiest way to invest in a
direction of the Dow is to monitor these two issues. The DIA is a
synthetic stock that you can buy and sell as easily as any company’s
stock. The YM is a futures contract.
